Houngyunying Zhang

Hongyunying Zhang is a doctoral student in the innovation, science, technology and law program at the Université de Montréal under the supervision of Professor Pierre Larouche. Her research focus on the ethical issues of artificial intelligence and the responsibility of and for artificial intelligence.

Hongyunying has two master’s degrees, one is in private international law from the Zhongnan University of Economics and Law in China, the other one is in business law from the Université de Montréal. Her professional and multi-angle study in the field of law has provided her with more flexible and diversified research methods. During her doctoral period, she tried to study the profound impact of artificial intelligence on contemporary society from the perspective of ethics and responsibility.
