Cécile Petitgand

Cécile Petitgand is a Senior Advisor - Innovation & Artificial Intelligence (AI) Component at the University of Montreal Hospital Center (CHUM). She completed her thesis in Management Sciences under a co-supervision between the University of Paris-Dauphine and the University of São Paulo (Brazil) on the theme of the emancipatory management of Brazilian social enterprises. She completed a post-doctoral fellow at Hub santé : politique, organisations et droit (H-POD) and at the CHUM research center, where she still conducts research projects as a profesional associate researcher. Cécile Petitgand is also a research associate of the Observatoire internationale sur les impacts sociétaux de l'intelligence artificielle et du numérique (OBVIA) and the JusticIA group. Her expertise focuses in particular on the management of the development and implementation of artificial intelligence systems in university hospitals in Quebec and Canada.
